I can only get 4psi out of it. It doesn't make sense to have it on if the motor can't spin fast enough to get boost. It dosen't build boost soon enough, not near soon enough. I might just take it back off and sell it. There should be no need to rap the motor that high to get boost.

well somethings wrong then cause with twisted wedge heads, a holley2 and a cam I made 5.5psi@ 6000 rpms with stock pullies and intake tube.......do you live in high altitude? belt slip?

I live in Wichita, KS the flattest place on Earth...lol

Belt is good and tight and line to gauge is good. Could the bypass be stuck open? I don't really know, I mean it has more power but I'm going to have to build a special high RPM short block to rev high enough it seems. Don't 5.0's stop making power at like 4800? I'm just confused.

Nah i've got a friend with a bone stock motor and a paxton and he runs 12.20's@111mph and he shifts @ 5500. The blower changes the intake flow alot because of the compressed air and it will rev higher. I bet you'll find your shift point to be 5300-5500.

I was wondering, cause it's not like it use to be. It keeps pulling way past where it used to just fall on it's face, it's weird.

I did retighten the belt last night, it was a little looser than when I had put it on. Went for a drive, looked like I saw 6psi once at around 6,000.

Kirban AFPR, FP gauge, and 180* t-stat just got here too.

What exhaust do you have? Cause it's not an issue to make 300 rwhp with a good exhaust, a stock motor and 5-6 psi. You should have have max HP around 5500......As an example my old combo with a 221/225 trickflow cam , heads and intake ran 12.80's @ 108-109mph....est @ 290+rwhp.......Stock pullie novi 1000 made 434 rwhp and it was way too rich.

But my point is my peak TQ on the cam should've been around 4200 without the blower....with the blower on the dyno it was around 5400....BIG DIFFERENCE!

Sounds like the belt is good and tight now and you should have no leaks.....
