Want to upgrade from SN93 to novi

Is it possible using the same bracket?

I have an LT1 engine with the sn93 and I dont like it.. to little boost...

I was wondering if it would fit in the same bracket... Thanks!!!!

The bracket is different. All of the tubing is different. Everything is different. The bracket for a NOVI 2000 is HUGE. I would suggest buying a complete kit or having your SN93 upgraded to a VR4. Paradise Wheels in Escondido California is the only one I know of that is paxton authorized to service the ball drive stuff. The VR4 will give you about 10 pounds of boost. It will cost you about $1000.00 to upgrade it. I would also recommend that you install an external oil cooler also(for the blower). Hope this helps.

I did the rebuild with him... He never told me anything of the VR4... I'll probably call him then...

I thought the VR4 was the same crap...

Another thing... There are no novi kits for the camaro LT1

The tubbing can be made and all, I just wanted to fit it into the bracket... that heavier is the novi?

Do anyone know where to find a novi kit for a camaro lt1?

Sorry my mistake, you are correct, they do not make a kit for your car. Your best bet is to upgrade to the VR4.

Can the VR4 used as a daily driver?

It says race only... IE.. for short intervals because of the extreeme heat created inside... I have the oil cooler though... will that be enough for a daily driver?

Back around 1995 I ran an upgrade Sn93-VR4 on the street for approx. 2 years with no problems. They say race only because of the boost levels. You need bigger injectors, bigger pump, etc...

The questions are 1) the guy at paradise wheels told me this was not a good supercharger for 8psi...

2) Can anyone send me a template of the bracket where supercharger mounts to???

I would love to have one to see if I can make a bracket myself...

well i went from a SN2000 ball supercharger to a Novi 1000.......the "cast piece is the same between both kits....all you need is the flat plate....should be easy to reproduce.....ill look if i still have it in my garage (was on my EX buds car and was taken off here so i may still have it) if so what i can do is TRACE out the plate on cardboard
and send it to you.....the cast piece you can get from paxton but ill bet they will RAPE ya for it
