    YS vs YSI Numbers

Here are my dyno charts for the YS vs YSI. I actually saw 650 rwhp for one pull which was almost a gain of 100 rwhp, but I fattened it up to keep it safe which brought the numbers down. There were no other changes and the two were pullied exactly the same:

    YS

    YSI

Dang thats a big difference. Ysi's must be bad. Any new times with the ysi yet Eric? Are they any louder than the regular ys?
Regatt: Got your combo running yet? How do you like it?

I am running the 8" / 3" combo that comes with the kit. I went a best of 9.91 with the YS...my first time out with the YSI I went 9.75....and I hope to improve on that a good bit in the spring :)

No, I went up without an audience so I didn't have anyone to video tape for me. I was too busy watching the pms and boost gauge. That was scary...the second he hit the gas, the 20 on the boost gauge was pinned. :freaks:

I haven't got it going yet and now there's snow on the ground so it'll be a while. I still need a new converter before i can get it in and get it running. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna like it just fine though. :teeth:

Eric, that is a crazy, back to back blower swap! 20+psi?

Is the Ysi any louder than the ys? Also what was your 8th mile times and mph Eric? What rpm does the boost come in?

They sound pretty much the same and look identical. Here is my slip with the times:
