    Question Oil mist

How much oil would be considered normal coming from boost side of the Novi 2000 into the discharge pipe. I dont expect that it should be bone dry, but at what stage would you consider there was a seal problem ?

An oil mist is ok, I would suspect a problem if oil starts to look like drips or puddles up.

Thanks Darin.......think I would classify it as a mist, but it does accumulate at hose junctions etc to almost dripping.....well a few drips anyway when I disconnect them. But doesnt seem to be puddling anywhere.

The oil mist could reduce your octane and cause pinking .....

Watch out, your IC could be full of oil !!!!! Only joking really, but the oil can gater there, as its most likely the lowest point in the system, and the oil can coat the internals of the IC, also reducing its efficiency.

    Lightbulb

Typing this with one hand and fitting the drain tap into the intercooler with the other !!! Actually, it might be a good idea since it does have a lowest point
