    Blower pulley?

I have a stock short block 331 with a Novi2000. The car will probably be making around 500 HP RW. My question is can I go to a smaller Blower pulley to make more boost or will I be pushing it? right now it has the stock pulley. It makes about 10lbs right now. I wanted to run 12-14 lbs. The block was built by Ford Performance solutions and it has a girdle. Help !

From what I have seen around the net 500 @ the wheels is when things go bad. I would stay right where you are.

Definitely girdle or not I would find out where you are at on a dyno first.

The car made 478 RW HP before the Holley Systemax II(ported lower), 75mm T-Body and Anderson Power pipe. I was thinking these upgrades may have slowed down velocity and end up hurting unless I had enough boost? I guess I won't truly know until I put her back on the dyno with a tune. Maybe the power pipe will give me the extra boost?

The power pipe would give you 2 or so more pounds which should put you right @ 500 or VERY close.
