I picked mine up new on eBay with a partial ECS C5 kit. I'm trying to collect the rest of the parts to convert the f.e.a.d. drive system on my 2000 Camaro Z28 to the C5 setup.
My blower's s/n doesn't begin with a zero. Does this mean anything different in the ranks of the new production units?

Be happy - serialized 5000 blowers are, and will always be, the best. Just like the 03 cobra - it had the best parts right out of the box

That is because Paxton is now Vortech and Vortech standardized all the part over to Vortech internals - I can't help either because we no longer stock the parts - the blowers SHOULD NOT break however, perhaps an impeller but the drive mech should be indestructible
