    I have a question about:
Vortech Engineering 6.87" 8 rib crank pulley used $75.00 This pulley has a 4.75 accessory drive. (underdrive)

I am running an SC-Trim blower which has a 6 rib setup. Can I use this pulley with a 6 rib belt w/o issues. Also, on some websites I see 6.875 & 6.87, aren't they the same thing or is there actually two differnent pullies that very by that little? Does this pulley come with the bolts? Will this pulley cause fitment issues with my stock fan? Finally, will I need a new belt or can I use my current one. I am running a 6" 6 rib crank right now.

Here is what you'll probaly have to do to your fan shroud. I had this fan in with my s-trim 6.87 8rib crank. You will see the fabrication on the bottom of the shroud.

As for the 6.87 or 6.875 it is the same thing. The difference in speed would be like a whole 35 rpm's at 6,000. I doubt there are two different pullies.

As for the belt you could use the 6 rib on the 8 rib pulley but why then buy the pulley?? The length wil be the same, just get it in an 8 rib.

As for the other info Chuck will have to answer.

I see what you mean from the pic. My dremel will great for that.

I'm not sure what you mean. I am currently running a 3.33 s/c and 6.00 crank all 6 rib. This will give me a 6.87 crank and I can upgrade the rest to 8 rib later.

Woops, I didn't read enough. I though you had the 6.87. My bad. You'll need a longer belt than you have now and in 8 rib. Probably like an 1" to 1-1/2 " longer. You'll have to try it out till you get the right length. Others may know what will fit a 6.87 and 3.33 combo. Just ask in the general tech! Sure many others have ran it. Mine was on a 351 with a 2.95 pulley so I can't help.

You would need a 54.5" belt.
