    Up-graded to a VR4

    Well I upgraded to a VR4 Supercharger (1500cfm @ 14psi):D :D :D
What a PITA, but its finally done.
I had to change to a 8rib belt setup and a 4inch Intake setup,
and find a place to mount the BIG A$$ filter (round 7in X 14in) that would flow 1500cfm.
Now need to start some tuning.
BTW it blows the spark out at 12psi, had to regap the plugs to .030 so I could get over 12psi and 6000rpm out of the motor.

Check the Classifieds for my old parts that are for sale.
have pics of old stuff there.

Just curious, did yoy measure the 14 psi in the manifold or in the tube behind the blower?

I wrote that it was a 1500cfm @ 14psi blower and that I was seeing
12+psi, and BTW that is in the Manifold back by the MAP sensor.

I think I may have that figured out.
I'm looking into a SS hood from ASCD and building an Airbox that will sit on
top of the Engine and seal to the SS RamAir hood.
    Kinda like this one:

I was thinking of that also after saying something. Some sheetmetal and foam and you would be in business.
