GT40 intake install plus others, no power, what gives?

Today I just finished my installs, GT40 intake, 75mm mass air, 30lbs injectors, 190lph fuel pump. I test drove the car after everything was up and running, and there was a 0 power increase, if anything the car slowed down alot more then the stock parts. Could it be the blower not supplying enough air? The only other thing I can really think of is that I'm still using the stock throttle body and EGR spacer, could that hurt performance as much as it did? I would will be ditching the stock t/b and EGR as soon as my order arrives in the mail, but in the mean time, what gives?

Your at the point that the feel of the butt isn't going to do it anymore. Track times or Dyno will let you know if your working forward or backwards. What heads are you using? What exhaust? All of these allow the additional air to enter and exit which increases power.

GT40 iron heads, stock exhaust until the t-5 swap is done.

notice any diffrence in amount of boost??? with a better flowing intake you should see less boost than before but make up for it in more efficient usage

There is less boost in low rpm's thats for sure. I toyed with it today, and there is a definte gain in hp +4200rpm. When the t/b comes, it should pick up alot since the stock is on the car right now. There are a few more things I'm gonna toy with tonite, I'm hoping I can tune it with the *** dyno.

That's what I was expecting. When I finish the T-5 swap, low end will be nothing like with an AOD. So within the next two months, I'll have the 5speed in, then BBK longtubes with Dr.Gas X-pipe. Everything should work well together.
