    Help me choose an intake

Need some opinions on which intake would/should work better for my combo. First off this is a full weight street car that I take to the track a couple times a month. My combo consists of.

    CHP 347 8 1/2 compression
    AFR 185's untouched
    Trick Flow stage 2 cam
    Vortech S-trim with 2.95 pulley
    5-speed

My choices are the edelbrock rpm2 or victor 5.0

I would prefer the 5.0 but will it kill to much of my low end, or will the blower more then make up for it. I would maybe consider the holley systemax but for some reason I seem to remember hearing that the ports don't match up to good with the AFR's. Any and all help would be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks
    Ryan

i have a holley and two friends run it with afrs, i've never seen it as an issue with them. if you dont want to, i'd go with the TFS-R, you have two choices with that, the one shaped like the holley or the boxed upper package.

I think i'd go with the RPM 2. should make decent low speed power and all have zing up top you could ask for.

RPM2. The Holley, Victor, and TFS-R intakes are racier, but they won't have as good off-idle throttle response for street driving.

The RPMs are better flowing out of the box......but the Holley is better when ported.

Since it is a full weight car what gear are you running? if you're gonna run something wild like a 4.10 get the Holley or the R intake.....if your going to drive it and run like a 3.55 i'd get the RPM2.
