Even at 6500 that still put's the t around 65,000 which is 10,000 over it's max.

I was going to run the aftercooler and see how it went and also try just the distube. I run c-14 so no issues. Just found a great deal on this setup and thought i'd give it a try. My tuner is not a big fan of the aftercooler on cars like mine anyways.

Have you had a chance to run your car with the T trim yet? Wondering if you like it better than the ys.

I have had it running and it makes a ton of power down low. The only problem is I can't floor it. All I can do is half throttle since it boggs at full throttle. (Minor tuning issue). I am hoping to get it tuned late this week or early next and get to the track for the real proof. But so far with only half throttle I am very impressed. Also I seem to be making virtually the same amount of boost as I did with the YSi, however, with a 3.33 on the T as opposed to a 2.95 with the YSi.

I cant wait to you see what it does. Im building a 358 windsor and cant decide what blower to use. Seems like the T would be better suited for those amount of cubes but I like the ysi also. When does the T start making boost compared to the ysi you had? Thanks for your info.

They pretty much seem to be the same. The YSI made 15 immeadiatly at ~4800 where the stall flashed to and the t seems closer to 13 but I can't truly floor it, only 3/4 is about the most. The T right now is at about 18 psi around 6,000 while the YSi was closer 19-20. The YSi mad max of 23 psi at 6,600 while I think the T will be near 22psi at 6,600. Again thought the YSi had a 2.95 pulley on it while my T has a 3.33.

But the T is feeling better than the YSi and it is only at 3/4 throtle.

No it was just dynoed through the TKO. The dyno sheet is in my gallery. This year with the AOD and I went to 10 rib and larger pullies all around as well as 1 7/8 Kooks and 3" exhaust I was making 23psi. So I was probably closer to 700rwhp.

Before I had 8 rib, and smaller pullies (little more slip issues), TKO and ~20 psi and 1 3/4 BBK's and 2.5" exhaust.

I had a best of 139mph as well with my YSi.

Your 60' and 1/8 mile seem to be pretty slow for a 9.6 pass. Are you running on a slick or DR? You are definitly making power out the back.

28x10.5 et drags about a year old with 20 passes on then

    I spun about 10 feet.

I think next time out (hopefully this weekend or so), I should run a bit better on 28W's and with better air... I think it will go an easy 9.3@146 but my goal of 8.99@150+ will be a challenge. I really can't run a smaller blower pulley without changing my tensioner setup.

This year I had ASP make me a 8.6" 10 rib Crank so I din't have to run so small of SC pulleys. I used to run a 2.65 and 8". With the YSi I was now able to run a 2.95 and now with the T I can run a 3.33 up top. I have virtually no slippage. I used to see belt dust after a few days of driving, now virtually none.

I saw a 3-4 psi increase on the YSi as a result of the pulley swap. I also did chage to 1 7/8 LT over the previous 1 3/4 LT last year with the 8 rib setup. So that may account for 1 of the 3-4 psi gain

I really didn't want to go to cogs as my car is street driven.

My best 60' on the YSi and TKO was 1.40 on 26" MT Drags.
My best 60' on the YSi and AOD this year was 1.53 on 275/60 MT DR.

I'm running 8.00/2.85, have seen a best of 754rwhp/21.5 psi, and a low of 680/18 psi. My 9.6@144 passes were done two days after I dynoed 18psi. We weren't sure where the boost went, might have been weather, might have needed more belt tension. If I could make it work, I'd run the 2.80 blower pulley and try to hit like 23psi.

I have a set of 275-60-15 mt/dr's sitting around, but I think I'd run like a 1.50-1.55 on them at this power level.

Your 133-136mph passes remind me of my passes last year, when I had massive belt slippage and was probably only around 600rwhp. I went 10.33@136mph last year with belt problems.

If I can go like 1.39-1.42 on the 28w's next time out I will be comfortable that I'm going in the right direction.

    Last time out I went:
    9.90@137 (oops 2-2 shift)
9.65@143 (1.45 with lower rpm shift points)
9.61@144 (spun, with higher shift points)
    9.66@143 (spun)
    9.96@134 (crazy lack of traction)

The 275/60 MT have dead hooked great for me, yet my front end would come down to fast and then unload the rear and spin. They are great tires. I belieive some was the fact that the car would lose power after the hit and not keep the front up and thus losing the traction.

Hopefully the T will pick up this low end for me and all be well.
