well what i am doing is a 347 displacement with a 331 type stroke(3.2).....I wanted to ask him what they did for the "spider" in the lifter valley.....my builder tried to talk me into solid lifters.....it wasnt till later i figured out why.....he told me on a dart block you dont want to drill into the lifter valley cause of where they re routed the new oiling.....then he figured he could drill each dogbone....I wanted to ask Sean what they did with his....you can use a "retro" kit but they are heavy and a lighter valve trian the better?

Do you have the sportman dart block or the iron eagle? I have the sportsman and it is suppose to use the stock lifters or that at least what Dart says. I haven't gotten to that point yet, my block is in the garage on the stand still.

I have the Iron Eagle.....the stock lifters will work.....but the spider wont...you would have to grind the **** out of the lifter valley
