Hi friends. I am Elio Troyano from Venezuela. I am new in this forums but not new in cars performace scene. I have been looking for information about some ideas to get more power from my supercharger kit. Then I found this amazing site. In fact I have read here some info about my question, but I would like to get more expert orientation from you, the pros, about it.

Friends I have sport compact car, a 2000 Chevy cavalier 2.4L engine with a GM Eaton MP45 SC kit waiting to be installed. You can find more info here: http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/perfpart...on=ep#12498287

To explain my idea as short as possible, here is a summary and my basic question: I was thinking to install a phenolic spacer between the supercharger manifold and engine's head, all this with the objective to avoid as much heat soak as possible. Do you think that could be a good idea? For my application I would need new or modified brackets and a new belt. What could be the pros and the cons of this idea?
I appreciate your orientation.

Best Regards,

Elio Troyano
