Thread: what clearence issues would i have to change to go up in tire size and run a 28x10.5

    what clearence issues would i have to change to go up in tire size and run a 28x10.5

    ?????????????? or what wold i need to do to either fender or anything under there

    you just have to roll the entire fender lip back into the wheel well ,and also might have to stick the wheel on and look behind in the wheel well and see were the wheel is hitting and hammer the sh..t out of the areas that hit the tire .. and you have to remove those stupid useless rear end shocks ..

    rear end shocks? as in the actual shock that is there on every car?

    The quad shocks have to be removed. I used a peice of 4 inch pvc to roll my fender lip. Yes the paint did crack. The driver side turned out good but the passenger side got a small wrinkle in the fender flare. I hammered the crap out of the inner fender. There is only about 1/8 inch of clearance on the passenger side and maybe 3/16 on the drivers side at the closest points.

    The car has street tires on it now and im kind of busy installing my gen 7.
    I wont be around this weekend, I'll see if I can switch them next week sometime. If I dont get to it next week I'll be gone for another 2 weeks.
