    new clutch

Well, I finally smoked the Centerforce D/F I had in the car. I just got done installing a Spec stage 5. Its grabby as hell, but I think its going to work out. I am very suprised at the light pedal on this! I thought something this bad-*** would be a workout! Its as light or lighter than the C/F. I was going to install a stage 5 with a stage 3 disk, but couldnt get one this way for a few weeks. Ill just have to get use to it on the street. Its not as smooth being a solid disk and all, but hey it wont let me down at the track either!

STAGE 5      Holy Pooper Bat Man.

I had the stage III and know how hard that one hit. But your right on with how light the pedal is for SPEC's. Now you see why i have the AOD in,... Bye Bye clutch dust!

BTW back to the track tonight.

Its nice knowing the clutch isnt slip sliding when it felt like it! I just need to work on my powershifting now! Good luck at the track tonight -full report is expected!

I am getting there. My best pass was 10.3x's at 134mph with a 1.53 60 ft. However, i made a degree or two of timing change and my mph went up to 137-139mph , however was unable to get it to hook so the 60 ft' was bad. The car seem to like about 13.5 psi in the tires and rear on 3 and fronts on 1 so far. May have to tweak it a bit from here. Hopefully I can hit the 9's this weekend at Fun Ford.
