    Dumb question ?? Thermostat

    Which way does the thermostat get installed on a 89 mustang 302? Spring toward the block?

    Yes, spring towards the block. you may also want to drill a small hole in the flange of the thermostat to make it easier to purge air from the system, if you do this, intall with the hole at 12 o'clock.... Lee
