Question Can some suggest a good super/turbocharger book or reference?

    Hi everyone,

Like the title suggests, I'm looking for a good book or reference that goes into the details of supercharger and turbocharger design. Subjects like impeller and turbine design, scroll/housing design, fluid dynamics, compressor maps, etc... are some of the topics that I'm looking for.

I have a degree in Engineering, so I'm not afraid of an overly technical or theoretical books.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

    Cool, thanks!

I've just done a search for Maximum Boost on Chapters.ca (I'm in Canada), and it comes up with a ton of great reviews. Looks like I'll be adding that one to my list of books to pick up next time I'm at the book store.

But I can't seem to find anything on that Supercharged book. Any idea who the author is? I'll keep trying sites like Amazon and see what it comes up with.

    Thanks again!

EDIT: Just found Supercharged on Amazon.ca!

I'm not sure if it's still published, but "Turbochargers" by Hugh Mcinnes is a good one. It was published by HP books.

I second both of these books. Corky Bell is very knowledgable and his books are great.
