I was told the 10" tire record is 6.99 in the 1/4 mile...
In this video this guy lets off at half track.... and if you watch the video he does the 1/4 mile in like 8.5 seconds..... He had no time, but just watch the clock on your player :)

10" tire record is 6.96 @ 207 by Tim Lynch. He has actually been quicker at a more recent event (ffw) running a 6.93 @ 202 in sso legal trim.
and id say if Brad Brand can turn the boost up and put the power to the ground, he will outrun the record by at least a tenth.
