What, I have found almost any belt combo for 10 rib and 8 rib. What are you looking for? Gates or Dayco will make it.

Trust me I run a 8.6" 10 rib and have had no issues. Plus my blower is mounted on a 351 motor on 302 braket mounts wihich even makes it more uncommom for a belt since it is longer than normal. You can get 85" to about 51 inches in about every 1" increment. The tensioner should allow enough flexibilty to do so. I know the vortech has a lot of room for flexibilty.

I'll check there again, I thought I called and they sent me to another place for it and they said it was custom made to order only. I'll re-check though, thanks

You didn't have any clearance problems? Do you run power steering and AC?

Also, none of these belts worked for you?

    http://www.gatespowerpro.com/Comerg...unchInID=607492#
The above is a link to all the serpentine belts that gates makes. They make 10, 12, 14 and even 15 rib belts. Of course they have the usual 3,4,5, 6 and 8 ribs as well. If you page through it, you'll see them. Basically in the part number the fist two numbers is the number of ribs while the last numbers a re the lengths. This is great info to have when trying to find belts. Especially those 10, 12 or 14 rib belts.
Again here is Dayco's 10 Rib selection if you missed it before.

5100495 example this is a 10 ribbed belt that is 49.5" long
    5100510 51.0" long
    5100518 51.8" long
    5100533 53.3" long
    5100540 54.0" long
    5100555 55.5" long
    5100568 56.8" long
    5100575 57.5" long
    5100585 58.5" long
    5100600 60.0" long
    5100608 60.8" long
    5100613 61.3" long
    5100630 63.0" long
    5100635 63.5" long
    5100640 64.0" long
    5100655 65.5" long
    5100660 66.0" long
    5100665 66.5" long
    5100678 67.8" long
    5100710 71.0" long
    5100720 72.0" long
    5100730 73.0" long

I just read about alot of people saying they had problems with the 8" pully hitting the water pump I believe... I was just curious if ya had AC and PS.

BLOWNBY, is it possible there are different angles because of the 351? I'm with FoMoCo. I tried a 8" crank and couldn't get it to clear the waterpump pulley when trying to route the belt up to the blower. I bought a billet 93 Cobra wp pulley and took it to a lathe and had it additionally shaved and extra .300 off the front. It still wasn't even close. Just in my head I'm thinking an 8.6" like you said, there would REALLY be now way I could dream of getting it to work. I'd love to know how you got it on, because I still have my pulley and want to extra surface area.

And another thing, I could not get the standard 6.87" lower to work with a 2.75" blower pulley because of a gap in the belts produced. I had to buy and run a 3". Does anyone know the belt size and where to get it for the 2.75"? I went to Mack to get the 55.5" for my 3" pulley.

I was probably one of those you read. Not that it makes a difference on the blower belt hitting the wp, but I do have AC and PS.

I have ran an electric Wp with my 8" & 8.6" pullies. Also maybe the way the vortech idler tensions the belt, it may push it furthur down thus coming up on less of an angle and not hitting the cobra WP pulley.

Get an electric Mezeire WP and you should be fine though.

    you're right...

superchargersonline and paxton autovotive both say that the 8" vortech will most certainly not fit for the paxton they said the offset is different becauase of their mounting... just to affirm the inquiry... asp is the only and i repeat the only place that will do this for you... hope this helps...

HMMMMM. Then why did ASP say they sell the same 8" crank pulley for Paxton as well as vortech?

I called them and asked this since I had a custom 8.6" 10 rib pulley made for Vortech and will be switching to a Novi 2000.
I didn't want to loss out on this cheap :freaks: pulley?
