    polishing vr4 impellor housing?

    I just took off the rear plate that goes over the impellor and noticed that the housing is not very smooth, can this be polished ? And if it can will it be worth the time? Looking for any way to get as much as i can out of this blower.

    My rear plate was polished when I ordered it with the billet impeller back in the day. The internal housing looks like chrome and they even enlarged the discharge by 1/8" by cleaning up the casting. My other VR4s I have done the same myself.
