Has anyone successfully replaced the front seal in a P600B??

I replaced my front seal with the Federal Mogul pt# 20x35x7, but it's still leaking. Which way does it face? Maybe I've got it backwards. Any tips would be great!

I'm not sure what that seal looks like, but every seal I've ever seen, the lip part goes to the inside, flat part goes to the outside.
