Anyone spinning their T in the 55000 range

Was thinking of spinning my T-Trim to 55-56000 impeller speed. I'm looking to see 15-18psi but I think I may be over that (this will be a 10rib setup)

On my S-trim I made 13-14psi spinning it at 52000.

    331
TFS Heads in the 300/230 range
    Matched Holley Systemax 2
    1 3/4 LTs
    Thanks
    Chris

In all honesty I spun that bad boy to 64,368 between shifts and to 67,386 as I went through the traps in search of my 9 seconds pass last week. The next pass is when my Head Gasket said enough is enough. Needed a little more fuel.

The T trim said :D :D . Give it to me. :blob: Made about 23 psi or so. Hard to read since my boost guage only goes to 20 and I was over 130 mph.

But they can handle it on a serp setup.

I hope to get the car out this weekend with a litle more fuel and get the 9's I am so longing.

I will have my dyno # tommarow. Im spinning my T around 58000 was told by Vortech to not worry about it. They have to say something to keep everyone from spinning the crap out of there blowers so they tell u 55,000 but they will go well past that though they do start to lose there efficiancy/

Dont have final # yet because she starts to miss at 4800 to 5000 rpm so we are checking some things but at 5000 we made 624 hp 590 trq. We are trying to take her to 6200 so # should increase. At 5000 we have 14 lbs of boost we should be around 18 to 20 at 6200 time will tell I will keep u guys posted. Air fuel in nice and flat in the 11s.

331 with 9.25 compresion, all the usual good internals, trick flow stage 2 cams wich are identical to Anderson b4 cam,T trim with cogs,77 crank 30 blower, hers the winner I have a custom air to air cooler a big unit done by Behind bars race cars, the car is a 1985 Mustang GT that we converted to efi. The old combo went 12.2 at 110 with 296 hp 310 trg at the wheels. I run it in wild street so I do street drive it. My fuel system is all aeromotive with a 1000 pump 72 lb injectors, with a PMS unit and tremec trans. I run a Drag Radial 275/60/15 with a tremec trans and I know to big now 4.10 gears.

Wow you should be near or over the 700 mark w/ the little T. :D

    Any pictures of your setup?

Any idea on your intake temps?

Intake temps between 135 and 145 I run VP116 fuel but we are going to drop down to 100 with those temps. I ran 116 because the cooler was originaly not going to be there but its way to much octane now. I forgot the rest of the info is a Trick flow Track Heat intake and some ooolllddd school J302 heads done by Mike at High Flow Heads. They flow identical to a AFR 185 with 10 to 15 cfm more exhaust flow.

Intake temps should get even lower because we dont have a huge hi flo fan in front of the cooler. Should work better at 65 plus mph going down the track.

    Talking

I was 200 to 210 before cooler on pms. Im happy with a 65 degree change. Doesnt sound like much but when u think of walking outside when its 0 degrees out as compared to 65 degrees its night and day. 65 your racing at 0 your praying your work car doesnt brake down.

I keep getting cut off what I was going to say was my 200 to 210 temps were just driving around I never boosted the car because it wasnt tuned so I didnt want to hurt anything the 135 to 145 is under full boost conditions on the dyno.
