    pulley removeal help pics

    I was trying to remove my blower pulley with the belt on and snaped the bolt.
    how do i get it off now?

    this first pic is with the parts all togeather.

    with the broken bolt

    front cover removed

    Drill the bolt and use an easy out. I just bought a set a Sears when it happened to me. Those bolts are usually Grade 8 or harder so a cobalt drill bit makes drilling easier. Start small and work your up to the proper size for the easy out. Then tap the Easy out into the hole you drilled in the bolt and unscrew it. With the head snapped off the bolt all tension should be gone and it will probably unscrew easily.

    bolt

    this is off a paxton n2000. dose the rest of the bolt have to come out b4 the pulley will lossen? or will the two small keeper tabs remove the pulley so i can mess with the bolt then?

    You should be able to slide the pulley off now, nothing holding it on.
