ALL I RECEIVED WAS A PAIR THICK PORT GASKETS, NO FRONT OR REAR MANIFOLD TO BLOCK SEALS. THEY LOOK LIKE MR GASKET MATERIAL.

run a search in the general section [chrysler boats]
i do have a BDS manifold,i used there fiber port gasket and copper plus silicone on each end front/back.the gap for me was 3/16,you will see how much to put on.i just made sure thay were clean/dry with laquor thinner, brake cleaner, starting fluid.i used a razor and trimmed the fiber to the intake before installing it just by maching the intake bolt holes to see what overhung.i have copper head gaskets with an o-ring SCE brand i think.some use hylomar ptx81998 for sealer on the gasket.i use silicone but will try it later.

i ment to look better at your combo i put a 440.it is probibly 20 more hp for a 452.
i hope the seal works for you.a tube of RTV is 3$ how much is the strip seal?it will never see 600 F!maybe 350 just from the oil splash from the cam.
you may need some other things for the motor like crank case vent in the headers, carb insulator[wood spacer].
thanks for the reply's!keep us posted.

i realized today about the intake bolts to the head that i use allen head bolts w/washers to keep from maring up the intake and it was easier to bolt down.a socket did not fit well inside the intake.keep the length as shoer as possable to keep them from hitting the pushrods.i think thay were 2x1/4x16 thread.i got them at a mechine shop or bolt store.i loctited mine also so i dont have to take the blower off to tighten them.
