I installed a whipple supercharger on my 97 Chevy w/5.7 of course it runs lean and pings at high rpms. The kit didnt have the aux fuel injectors. Just the maf box w/ fuel return shut off selonoid. Do I have to get new injectors, cooler spark plugs, or new FMU? Or does anyone know if it can be programmed to avoid a bunch of mechanical changes? PLEASE HELP!
I used to work at a place where we sold the Whipples and highly recommend the extra injectors and colder plugs,but I saw a lot of them come back either locked up or they damages a lot of engines from melting pistons,so we stopped carrying them and picked up Magnuson.Money well spent would be a good tune too.
