    Question COG Pulley size, psi Question

    Hi I have a Novi 2000 that i bought used with a cog set up. I only want to run about 8-9 psi, which the current cog set up is for 20 psi!!! I have a 78 tooth crank pulley what size cog blower pulley would i need to reach these numbers (8-9). Also this will be a bigger cog correct? Thanks Adam

    You'll need a huge like 40 tooth upper probably.

    Or you could get a small 72 tooth crank. Probably better to just spend ~$200 and get a 8 or 10 rib kit.

    Again boost will depend on many factors like flowability, heads, cam, CU Inch, etc

    pulleys

    I have a set of 10 rib pulley to make 8-9 psi and a differant blower pulley to make 12 to 13 psi, if you our interested?

    what size are the current blower cogs you've got?

    it's not hard finding a 40 tooth blower pulley rcdengineering could make one, its finding out if a belt is out there that will work with a 78/4x combination.
