    advise and thoughts needed

    hey i was just wondering how well the YSi will do as a street blower? i have a s-trim gone bad and i cant get it repaired....and i can get a new polished YSi kit cheaper than i could buy another s or t trim kit.... i was just wanting to get a few ideas and thoughts....thanks jimmy cook

    What kind of boost do you plan on or what size pullies. That blower may make a lot more boost than your hoping!

    well i have hit 12psi and 14psi with strim and i plan on using the YSI for now till some thing blows up...and i am going to get a DSS motor when that happens...i just dont want to have to buy a YSI later on and i can get it new and really cheap right now...so could i pulley it down to a safer level for now...and make i street able? thanks blownby

    yeah you should be fine. Won't be as good as a T at these boost levels probably, but if your planning on turning the boost up just get the YSi.

    If not let me know where this deal is!;)

    oh are you looking for a YSi.....i have a friend that was building a car and now wants a house so he is selling all of his stuff...my price was $2,500 for the new polished YSi kit....and i dont think i can turn that down....

    Should come w/ 8" and 3". Get a 3.33 and you should make ~14 psi......

    hey i have a question does the 302 vortech brackets fit on a 351? I bet they dont, knowing my luck....

    They fit, but the move the blower up and toward the passenger fender. Can cause some hood clearance and belt length issues.

    www.alternativeauto.com can modify them for the 351

    You have to have your brackets modified to fit on a 351.

    Basically a vaccum hose end thingy..

    Ruber like something that was shrunk somewhat....
