anderson cam not sure what one but has .580 lift
GT40 tubular intake 75mm TB
Edelbrock performer rpm 2.02 1.60

Probably mid to low 11's.

What is the weight of the car?
351 "stockshort block": -Vortech T-trim (21 psi), Trick Flow Heads, Lunati Cam, Weldon fuel system, Lentech AOD., 3.55 gears, 27" Hoosier QTP's, 3500# with me

-545 rwhp

I don't see the s with only 12 psi going 10's unless the car is light or have some really good flowing stuff!

It's possible.....

the car did produce 512rwhp on the dyno last week, no BTM or FMU (has 42lb injectors) no chip either. what does it take to get a 10 sec. car.

That's enough power to go 10's in a 91 coupe, even if you don't run a 10 you'll have big mph

512rwhp is pretty big hp so you shouldn't have problems going 10's if your car hooks. I made around 540rwhp and went 10.0@138 spinning and weighing 3275 pounds.

You have done very well making 512 rwhp with your combo. I know I run a similar combo and it took me about 18 psi of boost to make that much power and that was with a tune on the ragged edge pushing 42lb injectors past their limit.

Well yeah with that HP you should be fine. Let us know how it goes.

Must have a bigger cam than I though or a good flowing combo!
Why didn't you post the HP if you had it earlier??

Now I feel like a dope! LOL

Well if your making low 500's and running a 28" slick with a 4.10 gear you should be able to get some nice 1.4x's at least. Nice short burnout, 11-12 psi, 16 psi in air bag pass side, rev to 5,000 and dump the clutch. You really don't need a fancy setup especially w/ slicks.

I had full non adjustable rear w/ 50/50 lakewoodsrear, 90/10 front, Eibach drag launch kit and Pass Side air bag at 18 psi. Had good 1.4x 60'ft. with 3.55 and 26" slick.

well i think were about on the same page. i never do a big burnout, just enough to get the water off and the tire warmed up. and at launch i never dump the clutch below 5,000rpm's. the air bags controll both sidescurrently, that can be changed, do you run the drivers side deflated?

its very possible with your combo. I went 10.40 at 10-12 lbs from my YS with TFS heads, a Systemax intake and an X-303 cam. with a C-4 and lots of suspension though. A good friend of mine has a 91 LX coupe with a stock bottom end 302 with Performer 5.0 heads, GT-40 intake, a small Lunait cam and a B-trim making 12 lbs and went 10.94 with a TKO and completley stock suspension! But to say he drives aggresive is a terrible under-statement!

yea look at what they were doing in real street in the early days, stock block, H/I shorties, TKO's and S-trims going low 10's with a stock cam. Before the class got way outta control...
