    Stangs idling poorly

My 93 stang has a Novi 1000 single belt system with 24lb inj. The stang idles with a fuel a pressure of 80psi and the stang loads up with fuel and cut off. Could my fuel regulator or fuel control unit be going bad. Guys your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

You should have 36lbs of fuel pressure idle. Your flooding the car with the injectors at 80lbs.

The mechanic who installed my supercharger had a paxton on his stangs a few years ago and is very good with superchargers said it was my FMU. Thanks guys for replying.

FMU only raises the Fuel pressure when boost pushes the diaphram down to allow additional fuel. This will not happen at idle so I wiould disconnect the FMU and see if it really makes a difference because it should not.
