has anyone tried to tune the eeciv with a tweecer or eec tuner?
has anyone tried to tune the eeciv with a tweecer or eec tuner?
I used a tweecer briefly, very difficult to learn how to use and very time consuming if one was to learn throughly how to tune properly with it. If it was me, I would look at a more user friendly tuner such as Anderson Fords unit.

doesnt the anderson unit just manipulate the signal instead of changing it?
You can set the PMS in stand alone and it will take over control. I really like my PMS.

well at a cost of $899 (anderson pms) vs. $369 for the eec-tuner i might just learn to use it( the eec-tuner) i dont have anything but time,so who knows, thanx for the input. Rich
I was going to pick up a more DIY system like that. Then I started reading about all of the shielding and grounding issues with it. Many people had to resort to wrapping stuff with tin foil to shield certain components.
PMS, just plug it in and go. Everything is well designed by a company who can develop automotive electronics.
Check out a used PMS. They can be quite resonable.
