    when is a larger pan rpm wise required?

    what rpm does a guy need a larger pan?

    I ran a stock oil pan for ~4 years w/ shift points mid 6,000 and a liitle 6800 rpm's w/ no issues. Total of ~ 20,000 track & street miles!

    I would say anything over 7000 should definitly get one. But sooner than later can't hurt
