Need a breather because your blowing boost past the rings and pressurizing the motor.

thats kinda how it feels when i get around 5k. So would just a breather work or would i be better off with a vac pump, my car doesnt have a smog pump in it, it was like that when i bought it a few months ago. Thanks for your help

also what would be the best way to hook this up, vac pump to breather?

Actually we had the thing happen on my buddy's '97 Firebird lt1.
You need to atach a hose to the passengerside valvecover and route that to the inlet of the supercharger just near the airfilter so that the SC sucks the pressure out.
We had some serious leakage to especialy when we had the the valvecover tube still atached to the tbi, witch alows the SC to pump air into the valve cover
You could instal a breather ofcoarse but a lt1 just has some blowbye.

ok so let me get this right, run a hose from say the oil filler hole down to a spot after the airfilter? Sounds easy enough, i just know that when i get around 5200rpm at full throttle i feel like im losing some power and boost and then i smell oil and it sprays the bottom of my car. When im normal driving it runs great.

yeah there is constant vacuum after the airfilter.
Do you have the lt1 ? ifso on the passengerside cover used to be pipe with hose conected to the tbi, direct that hose to the airfilter pipe and be sure to plug the tbi.
The driverside cover has the oil fillercap right ? just leave that alone.
You might experiance after a while that the maf sensor get dirty with oil splaters, so you must clean that every now and then or as I heard from other lt1 users is put a air compressor water seperator between the hose to colect any oil drips .

VATS is the biggest PITA your ll ever experience with an f-body, luckily you can bypass it, if thats even what wrong with my car. Any ideas on why my power kinda levels off around 5200rpm? i did not hook up the paxta map fuel box, wasnt sure if i needed it with the walbro 255 and the walbro booster. Should i install the extra injectors that hook to the paxta map and spray into the throttle body?

I think you do need the paxta fueler, exept you need to screw some screws back to not make it to rich.
