    Went 9.66 @141 Novi2000 19# and an AEM

    Hey Guys:

Its been a while since I have posted here (I rember whan it was Novipower.com)..

Any how I ran a 9.66 @141 running a Novi 2000 and driving the car to the track 20 miles each way

The moto specs are in the "mods" page http://www.mikeymustang.com/mods.htm

And the "noneventful" video of the 9.66 (with my Honda buddies comments at the end):teeth:
    http://www.mikeymustang.com/video.htm

the car was running 24 deg total timming and a very rich 10.5 to 1 AF and i logged 19# of boost and reved the car to 7000
also backed up the runs with a 9.79 and a 9.98

Actually...I foot braked the car to 2 k and when the lites came down I matted the gas...but looking at the logs it seems I really didn't go past 92% throttle till after I shifted into second then it was 100% throttle...
    1.468 60 ft
    113mph on the 1/8th

I was running c16 and Methonal so I was probally way over octained ( if that is a word)

when I tried launching on the trans brake earlier that night it just blew the tires off and netted a 10.6 and a 10.2

Nice times, I have a similar combo and went 9.9@141 on Hoosier QTP's.I see you run the trick flow box intake, what size cowl hood are you running. Any clearance problems? Might switch to one of those intakes but wanna keep my 2.5" cowl hood. Thanks.

My hood is the "Cobra R" wich is a 2-1/2" cowl so you should have no problems at all!

BTW I like the screen name my plate actually says "10sec50" LOL!

Yea you car looks great too!...you will like the box intake for the access to BOTH valve covers and injectors!
I am in the process of polishing the upper box

PLease send a pix of the blower/crank support
I wonder if it will work for a Novi 2000?
I just came back from Maple Grove where a buddy of mine broke his crank at the ballancer on a 2004 Cobra because of NO crank support and probally too much belt tention

    thanks

    mike..

we have made them for paxtons in the past... i cant remember if you are a drivers side or passenger side blower.. i just need to make a new pilot to fit the paxton supercharger pulley and get a center to center measurement for the proper length.. its not a big deal..
