I am new to this site and was looking for some help on my supercharger rebuild.
I have a Paxton sn-89 supercharger and am currently rebuilding it. It did not look that bad when I took it apart so I decided to replace the seals, bearings and roller balls.
I have been experiementing with the shims to obtain different rotating torques and have been getting numbers between 25 in-lbs up to 45 in-lbs. These numbers are with the seals not installed.
What rotational torque should I shoot for in order to get maximum life out of this supercharger ?
