    Anyone rebuild a P1 before????

    My cousin has a P1SC that had a seal go bad and then take out the bearings in the unit. The impeller looks fine but you can see where it contacted the volute some. I have pics, I'll look for them. Can I rebuild this myself if I get the bearings and seals?? The gears are all fine and I was driving the car when it went..and instantly turned the engine off. ProCharger is ZERO help and just say"send it to us" and are going to charge at least $600 they say.

    is it the rear pulley seal thats bad? If so it takes about 10 miniuts and 10 bucks to fix

    The seal went bad and then the bearings destructed themselves. Actually just one bearing did. ProCharger won't sell just the parts of course.....
