To users using blow off valves (esp. Speedy)

I currently have a bypass valve on my VR-4 setup. It is a plastic mitsubishi valve and it leaks a little boost, plus is tied into the intake tract. I think i am going to switch to a higher quality blow off valve (vent to atmosphere). What type of valve have you used? Carbed 71 Olds, so MAF is not a problem.

Speedy, I looked at your old thread, but you never mentioned which valve you choose. Care to share?

    Thanks.

I use a XS-Turbo unit that cost $100 from Jegs. It is adjustable so I had it open only at -18 vacuum so I did not need to hear that whistle noise all the time.

You could also start by plumbing your present valve backwards, i.e the outlet becomes the inlet. If it's like the bosch valve this'll help.
