Vortech mini race w/ mass air ???

Hello everyone,
Is it OK to run a vortech mini race bypass valve with a mass air car being tuned with SCT software ???? This is a standard draw through setup with the mass air in the fender of the car mounted on an Anderson Power Pipe. I was told not to use a bypass that vents to atmosphere on a mass air car because it will mess up the EEC but it seems like a ton of people with mass air run this setup........

You just have to plumb the outlet of the bypass back into the inlet of the blower so you have a closed loop.

Perfect,
That is what I was thinking but I wasn't sure because Vortech offers a filter for the outlet on those valves to keep dirt and debris out. I wasn't sure if having it plumbed back to the blower inlet would mess up the operation of the valve.
