    YSi Install Question

I am getting readu to install a YSi Renegade system on my 393. It has Z304 heads, 1 3./4 LT, etc. This will be a carb blow through install, and I will be converting over to E85 once I get all the kinks worked out.

This comes with the 8 inch and 3 inch 8 rib pulleys that they say puts out around 15 psi. I want to start off at only about 9 psi till I get every thing sorted out, then I will switch to E85, and up the boost.

This brings me to my question, What upper pulley should I order to give me 8-9 psi at 6,000 rpms?

    Here is my setup

thats a very open ended question.. but i will tell you that there isnt a big enough upper pulley made to work with the 8inch lower to make only 8-9psi... you'd need to go with a 6.87 lower and a 3.33 upper...

Why not just get a bigger blower pulley made then ?

When sorting out my LS1 setup, I've been through 4.0, 3.65, 3.33, 3.15 and now finally a 3.0" pulley, as well as an 8.25 and now 8.5" crank.

All custom made of course, in 12 rib.

ASP made them all for me. They werent particularly expensive either ( well the blower pulleys, cranks were more expensive )
I think they were like $125 each for the blower pulleys

I'll be getting some Reichard small pulleys made to see if that improves matters, as well as another 2.9" one ;)...just in case Im feeling silly.
