what happened to this site?

afew weeks ago this site vanished and i thought it was history after trying for more than afew days to find it.
anyway today i thought id try again and here we are,can someone let me know what happened?was the site down for awhile or was it at my end?
p.s. i think the info here is awesome....

Yes it was down for a little while, I think 2-3 days total, and now we are back.

I don't even want to guess how often I hit this site per day. I even payed a hourly employee all summer to cruise my 40 top sites and read my 1200+ emails a day for me.
