Should I really trust the used ones? How many miles are y'all normally getting out of yours? I don't think I even had 1000, but I think I may have ran it low on fluid once...or maybe my pump is going...I dunno...

Also, does anyone else have a problem with the cooler tube leaking because it seems as if my o-ring is too big, it doesn't fit in the tube, just kind of sits on top of it...am I supposed to have a smaller o-ring on the cooler tube so that it actually goes inside the filler tube?

Turns out there is supposed to be a little clip/spring hold-down device on the cooler tube...didn't get that when I bought mine. Ordered one of those as well as a new set of races...and...a 3.5" pulley....weeeee!

Clean and unpitted is fine. I've got years of service and thousands of miles on the used set I bought, including many runs down the dragstrip so, I trust them races just fine.

You run any charger low on fluid or lose pump pressure, it'll kill parts fast.

I lost the O-ring from the dipstick cooler twice allready.....I did not know about a clip holding it tight ?
I would trust used part pretty wel, I have a used impellorshaft on my VR4 that takes alot of beating for about 4000 miles now.

Everything else has about 7000 miles on it, that's when I rebuild my SN93, and then 3000 miles later I made the VR4 conversion, with a used impellorshaft.
