    Modifying drivers side YSi mount

I was wondering if anyone has modified the drivers side mount, so you can remove the complete SC and mount? It looks like if a small hole was drilled in the 2 mounting plates in line with the top outer bolt, a allen wrench could be inserted to loosen the bolt, then the other 2 removed, and the cimplete unit lifted off. It is a PITA to have to completly disasemble the mount to remove the head.

Here is what I was thinking.

On the second pic, the large X is roughly where the small hole would go.

    Any input?

I found out on another forum, that you can use a stud in place of the one hex head bolt, then use a AN washer and nut to secure the mount at the upper outside point on the head.

This will be very nice being able yo remove the complete unit with out taking it all apart.
