    Question Convertible Motor Mounts

I just dropped in a my new 331ci motor in my 1993 Mustang GT and I am using convertible motor mounts. The problem I am having is now my stock hood is hitting the top of the supercharger where the discharge tube attaches. I also tried my friends 3" or 4" cowl hood and that does not fit. I have the single belt Paxton Novi 1000. When I was using my stock motor mounts I had no problem. Is there that much difference in the height of convertile motor mounts than the stock motor mounts. When I first installed the supercharger I had to clocked the supercharger to get my stock hood to fit. My supercharger is clocked as far as it will go. Guys please give me your help because I have spent enough money and I don't feel like buying a different hood.

I am also using a UPR K-Member kit with the convertible motor mounts.
