    Alternator Relocate w/D2R

Hello everyone. Cool site. I am in the process of installing a D2R non-intercooled and the discharge tube from the head unit hits the alternator in the current location. Need to move it to the bottom of the motor but dont know were to find a bracket. I noticed in some of the other post that 1bad86gt has his located were I need mine but couldnt tell how he had it. Any help would be great. Thanks Tommy

The head unit is the driver side kit with a 12 rib setup. And the alternator is on the passengerside. Moroso electric water pump. Alt. and supercharger are the only acccessories. I have pics at home but I am at work tonight so it will be tomorrow before I can post any. D@#$ 12 hour shifts.

sounds like you might have to fabricate a new discharge tube or at least modify it but we'll wait for the pic's

That might be the easyiest thing since I have to change the discharge tube allready. I am going to be running a Pro-M univer Blow thru meter and the BOV is in the wrong location accourding to the Tech people at ATI. So I may just move the discharge tube out in front of the alternator. I have to put the BOV close to the head unit and the MAF right before the throttle body. Should of went with a Fast system. Anyway thanks for the imput and I am sure I'll be asking alott more questions in the comming weeks as I try to get this thing going.

Yeah,by the time I figured out what it cost to buy the mass air mtr and convert to mass air I found it was cheaper to go to DFI and then I stepped up to bank to bank fast then seq .I had too many problems w/ the mass air which actually turned out the problem was an internal vacum leak which was a ***** to find .

Yeah I hope that I can get it going with the Mass Air because I have allready invested alott of money to go this route. I'll keep ya'll posted on how it goes. If everything goes well this week I hope to fire the thing up.

By the way you wouldnt happen to have that Fast Bank to Bank still just in case I cant get it going with the Mass Air.:D ?
