    New Novi 2000 member here

Some good Info here. Thanks for the site.

    I have a 92 Camaro convertible.

    383 built from a '94 LT1
Callies Crank, Callies rods, thermal coated -33cc je blower pistons
Ported heads , Thermal coated valves and chambers
    small cam 220/230@.050 .502/.510 with 1.5's
Novi 2000 Super charger (sn # 05905) 8inch crank pulley and a 3.5 sc pulley
    MSD Billet Dstrib
    Electric water pump swap
700r4 with 2200 converter for now. (T56 to come)
    9 bolt rear with 3.45's
Spohn trq arm and crossmember, etc...

I ditched all lt1 electrical stuff. Drilled hole for a distrib.and dropped in a MSD. Running on a stock 7730 ecm for now. Im gonna try out the $59 code for boost.
If I dont like it , Im switching to a FAST EFI system.

A little messy right here but its the middle of the install. Gotta do the cold side tubing. (sorry thats the turbo side of me coming out. actually traded a turbo setup for the novi 2000.) I have 3 more turbo setups around so no big deal.

Needs paint. but that will come. Go fast gets finished 1st.

anyways that alittle about my novi project. Dono what hp/trq to expect outa it so well see. Hopefully something decent to toy with. If not back to a PT76 turbo.

    Welcome to the site!

Very nice ride indeed. I've always liked third gen F-Body convertibles.

Forgive me for asking, but the blower's outlet looks to be pointing in a rather obscure direction... how much piping are you going to need to redirect back to the throttle body?!? I'm not too familiar with NOVI superchargers, but can you "clock" the blower so the outlet allows for a more direct inlet to the throttle body? Are you planning on running an intercooler?

    Thanks for the welcome.

Your correct, I plan to run a fmic. So thats the best way to keep it clocked. I was thinking to clock it and go right to the tb and use a snow perf. alky kit. But I feel a fmic will hep more on the street.

what ever it makes. I did the math and looks like im gonna have to keep the motor under 5800 rpm if I measured these pulleys right.

5800rpm would put the novi right under 55000limit.

Kinda bummed as the motor was built to spin more then that. Ahh well see.

idea is to pully it for max boost it will produce and run a waste gate just like a turbo setup. and a electric/vauume sy/ty solinoid to control the wastegate.

so I can control it all via ecm with the $59 code. http://www.code59.org/
