    Oil cooler setup

Hi every one I am new here and new to supercharging. I am installing a SN 93 on my 1989 Mustang 5.0 I am wanting to install a oil cooler. I have a 5 speed car and have a radiator for a automatic in it. I want to use the trans cooler in the radiator as my cooler.

Looking for any thoughts about doing this good or bad. I bought a used cooler setup and have all the parts and was thinking running through the radiator trans cooler also. I can't see how this would hurt any thing. But I do tend to over do things at times.

    Thanks for your help!!!!!

The radiator is at 200 degrees because it uses the coolant and I never seen over 149 degrees with a external cooler. Heat kills ATF.

Thanks Speedytang for Your reply. Ya You are right about the heat I did not think it through. Thats the great part about asking. Bad Idea then sounds like it is going to rise the temp rather then cool it.

    Thanks Speedy!!!
