drag wheel and big brake question

Who one earth would be able to tell me what kinda setup I need to do to fit some skinnies, don't have to be 3.5" or 4" even, just light and skinny for drag racing purposes. On the front of my 91 coupes with 13" cobra brakes. I know I can get bogarts, but they cost about a grand for a set of wheels. Just curious if I have any other options. Thanks guy's. Also, the tech guy at weld was way uncooperative with answering any questions for me.

You can look into the Weld XP series. Those are made for bigger brakes, and if needed, you can also go for a bigger rim for clearance.

I know fellas, but! I talked to weld and they said I would have to use a 17x8 to get them to fit. I said that would be silly of me, because that's what I have on my car now. He said in order to get a 15x6 xp to fit I would have to use a spacer, and then the wheel offset would look funny. so I'm stuck

A few years ago Jim Campisano ran a pair of 16 inch skinny wheels on his '97 Cobra project car "Superfly" They looked really good in the magazine photos. I will try and dig out the issue with them in and let you know who made them.

I kinda remember that jeff, Let me know what you find. I may be interested there steve. Actually the back brakes on my car are just 95 gt's I believe. Didn't get real good info on the brake upgrade.

You just let me know man and I'll cough up a few bucks and the PBRs which would be more than adequate for your car.
