    shouldn't it be faster?

Took the white car to the track last night. Let's just say it was a tad discouraging. I made 3 passes, the first after driving 30miles, teching in, going straight to the staging lanes, and never turning the car off. The car went 14.2 at 97. 2.1 60'. Damn, not happy with that. Let it cool down, adjusted the tps, and fp. Next pass 14.3 at almost 98 2.33 60'. thrid pass was almost identical to the second. Just not happy. The damn thing revs like a civic. I'm guessing it's the trannie, but who knows. Should'nt it be faster?

    Brandon,
Did your ever hear the phrase "babying out of the hole". A 2.33 sixty. My ranger runs sixty feet quicker than that. I think you need a Lentech valve body and a set of sticky tires to solve your problems.:D

Clint, you should of said hi! Thanks for the positive words. The guy I purchased the car from said it has 3.55's? Who know's though.

Texas of course it depends on what mods it has!

Doug, I'm still a rookie when it comes to driving an auto. The whole left foot on the brake thing is way new to me. I'm telling ya I need some sticky tires bad. I would rather just buy some drag wheels and slicks or some drag radials, but am having trouble coming up with a front wheel option. do you think the v/b would help et at all? Just didn't seem like the motor wanted to rev. Is this because of the aod slush horsepower robbing box behind it? Also first reaction time was a .532. This is the norm for me in a stick car with a retard tree(read sportsman tree).

Come to think of it.....I'd almost rather have a 14 second Stang that is running than the pile of parts I have in the garage right now.

brandon, i have a set of 5 lug draglites, i think you can use a 1/4 inch spacer on the fronts and they will clear the brakes, not sure of that though
if you ever want to try it out let me know
