    Oil Feed Line Filter

Is there a filter in the oil feed line to the blower anywhere. I spun a bearing and got some copper into the oil system. It looks like most of it was filtered out by the oil filter, but I wanted to know if there was any filter or something to stop debri from entering the blower that I should also check. Thanks.

Do they sell one? Who makes it and how much does it cost.

Paxton does not make a kit as of yet, but Steeda offers one. You could also make it yourself with a small inline filter.

I thought that I read somewhere that there was a screen or something in the fitting that screws down into the blower. Any truth to that?

I remember reading either in 5.0 or MM&FF that Central Florida Motorsports sold an inline filter for the Novi. It was a some time ago so I'm not sure if they still are selling them.

I pulled the fitting on the Novi. It is pretty much just a nozzle in there with a .0625" hole. Mine didn't have anything in it so I am thinking that I am ok.

Chris, you could just pretened that the brass was soft enough to where the gears in the blower just smashed it down with no harm done! :) I would think your ok. I have a buddy that just put all different kinds of bearing debry through his old s-trim, and it didn't sound any different aftwards. Just the normal s-trim noise.
