    How fast can the Novi 2k be spun?

    Anyone spinning it faster then 55k. The pulley setup i have now spins it to 46020 rpms and i'm only getting about 13 psi. How much faster should I spin it to get 17-20 psi?

    50,000 rpm is suggested max rpm on a standard Novi 2k.

    Isn't the MAX impellar speed 55,000?

    I do believe it's rated to 55k.

    I just pulled a magazine article from years ago and it states the RX model can be spun up to 65k. I guess thats how racers are getting > 25# out of them.
