    Breather system install complete

    Hey guys,

I receive alot of e-mails asking what I suggest re: breather systems.

Well I have just completed mine so I thought I would share.

    The system requires:
    ** 1 Stefs breather can, 2 -10 AN welded
** 2 AN -10 Fuel Cell bulkhead fittings (for valve covers)
    ** 4 AN -10 90's for can and covers

Simply mount the bulkheads in the covers, mount the can and attach the lines. You now have a system that can handle 30 + lbs of boost!

I will finish the system with a one way check valve for the PCV valve.

Comments are more than welcome :D

    Here are the pics:

Very good point Mark... When I started work for 2003 I had it all planned out to work this way.

I really like the Downs with the Gt40 lower and I think the engine is looking great.

It is missing my nice polished real street 2K, then I will be all set :D

    Hey Ian
My breather tank consists of a 10 cent old cat food can:D

Works great in conjuction with my BGC one way check valve in the PCV line.

Your setup looks great and I have though about this before but I won't really bother with it at this point. I also have a breather tank on my coil mount where yours is for my C4 trans case.

Looking good anyways. How much longer before it runs again. The snow has got to be about gone up there eh?

    50 @ the wheels..Damn!! I've gotta try that!!

BTW- did you consider using the exhaust to scavenge crankcase pressure? I've seen where guys will weld nipples into the exhaust & tye it into the valve covers similiar to what you did. What are your thoughts on that kind of set-up?

Yeah Steve I ran the same breather as you all last year, it made a mess on my headers and so the planning began.

Sean, I like the idea of those systems on a big engine with lots of boost. I have seen that setup on a 408 twin turbo, never on a 302-331. I am also not running a ton of boost so I will be ok.

My dad run's 'em on his low 7 sec turbo bike, swears by them. I may consider it if I run into problems now that I am a half-*** welder (still not done with the cage though, lol)
